A collection of reports, correspondence, photographs, and microfilm pertaining to one of the most controversial figures in the history of the United States Air Force, William Lendrum Mitchell. The remainder of the collection relates to his various assignments nad personal letters following his court martial.
The main collection of Mitchell records is located at the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. Much of the Special Collections holdings are duplicates.
IMAGE NOTE: Photograph of Mitchell from MS 14.
