This collection contains materials dealing with Reade Tilley's military and civilian careers. As an RAF Eagle Squadron pilot and fighter ace in World War II, Tilley kept flight logs and diaries of his experiences from 1941 to 1942. Also included are oral histories and documents relating to his interest in auto racing. The collection also contains extensive information regarding the Eagle Squadron Association and Tilley's time working with General Curtis LeMay in the Strategic Air Command. The collection also contains clippings of General Ira C. Eaker's newspaper columns from the 1960s to the 1980s.
