Beginning with data from Academic Year 2023-2024, the McDermott Library will be publishing annual State of the Library reports for attention of the Dean.

The McDermott Library renovation will modernize the facility with critical upgrades to enhance safety and functionality across approximately
132,000 gross square feet. The project will feature a strategic reorganization of the library’s collections, reallocating space to prioritize education
and collaborative use.
The renovation is projected to cost approximately $107 million, supported through a combination of Facilities Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization funding and donor contributions. Remaining funding priorities include the Clark Special Collections, Gimbel Room, Academic Success Center, and Martinson Honors Program.
