Digital Access Activation and Account Sign In

Cadets, faculty or staff at USAFA can enjoy complimentary access to The New York Times courtesy of the McDermott Library.  Follow the instructions to activate your account.  After activating, sign in to nytimes.com to access The New York Times anytime, anywhere.

First Time Activation

TO ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT:

1.  While connected to any USAFA network, go to:  AccessNYT.com

2.  Type the school name and select:  US Air Force Academy

3.  Create Account.  From here, create your NYT account using your USAFA email address and enter a password.

4.  Choose your user type:  Student or Faculty/Staff. If you are a student, select your graduation year.

5.  Click to Sign Up.

6.  After activating, sign in to your account at:  www.nytimes.com

Note: The expiration date of your Pass will be shown to you upon activation.  Student accounts expire upon graduation and faculty/staff must re-register annually to confirm your affiliation with USAFA.
