McDermott Library offers a variety of streaming video, music, and other digital media. Along with USAFA, some resources are provided by DoD MWR Libraries and Air Force Libraries.

Access to resources are available through different platforms and portals, and may require a different login. The McDermott Library, for example, offers access to Kanopy and PBS streaming videos, while Freegal is available via DoD MWR Libraries, Air Force Libraries, and the Air Force Portal.

Streaming Videos

Hoopla
Access Hoopla via DoD MWR Libraries or Air Force Libraries to watch popular movies and television programs. Music, ebooks, audiobooks, comics and magazines are also available. Stream or download with the Hoopla app. Compatible with iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, and Roku.
Kanopy
Access Kanopy's collection of movies, documentaries and educational videos via the USAFA network or login with your Library username and password. Search browse for subject categories.
PBS Videos
Watch popular PBS arts & music, drama, and other shows. Login to Blackboard, click "Remote User Access Guide" from the Library Resources tab, then check details under "Streaming Videos" for sign up to access videos from PBS.

Streaming Audio

Freegal
Access via Air Force Libraries and listen to millions songs from different genres. Includes access to Sony Music’s catalog of legendary artists, with songs added monthly, so there’s always something new.
Hoopla
Access via Air Force Libraries for popular music and audiobooks. You may also read ebooks, comics and magazines. Stream or download with the Hoopla app. Content compatible with iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, and Roku.
Overdrive Digital Media
Access via DoD MWR Libraries for a wide selection audiobooks, plus ebooks and magazines. "Sign In" and select "United States Air Force Academy" as your library, and enter your USAFA Library username and password.

Air Force Portal
Access streaming media content via the AF Portal. From menu select Library & Resources for links to databases and online resources.
