Access to Additional Library Resources

The Department of Air Force Libraries provides access to these additional library resources.

Additional Library Electronic Resources

The Department of the Air Force Libraries provides access to additional digital resources and collections beyond the academic-focused offerings of the McDermott Library. These resources and services include access to information essential to the Air Force mission, support for professional military and voluntary education programs, streaming videos, music, and much more accessible items via Base Libraries, the Department of Defense (DoD) Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Libraries, and the Air Force Portal. Depending on site accessed, the library resources are available to anyone with a current Common Access Card (CAC) or DoD Identification (ID) Card.

With only a few exceptions, the library resources available through the AF Portal and MWR Libraries are mostly the same. These exceptions are identified on the following pages as AF Portal or MWR Libraries.  This guide provides a quick overview of the electronic resources and directions on how to reach the site that offers them.

NOTE: Some of these resources are accessible though the McDermott Library as well if you have a McDermott Library account.  These resources are also identified.
